Jonathan Moss has been appointed the Premier League referee for the game between Arsenal and Manchester City at the weekend. The two teams meet again on Sunday evening in what would be the third meeting of this season in all competitions and Premier League referee Jonathan Moss has been placed in charge of the game. Another Premier League referee, Andy Madley would be the fourth official for the game. The assistant referees are Marc Perry and Dan Robathan. Premier League referee Peter Bankes will be in charge of VAR, while Timothy Wood will assist him.

The Arsenal vs. Manchester City game will play host to the reunion of Pep Guardiola and Mikel Arteta. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was the assistant manager to Pep Guardiola at Manchester City for several years before the Spaniard took up the managerial job at the Emirates Stadium. Arteta has won just one of the four meetings with Guardiola, losing the other three games in the process. The Gunners boss has lost the two meetings with Guardiola this season and he could lose a third game in a row with their sensational form.

Ahead of the Arsenal game, Manchester City have won their last 16 games in all competitions, which is a record in English football. Mikel Arteta and his Arsenal players will certainly have their hands full in the quest to stop Manchester City. The Citizens are the Premier League team to beat this season following the sensational form shown since the turn of the year. Manchester City made it a ten-point lead at the top of the table with the 3-1 win at the home of Everton. Phil Foden, RiyadMahrez and Bernardo Silva were on target for Manchester City, while Everton scored their lone goal through Brazilian player Richarlison. He led the Everton attack in the absence of the injured Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
